This position requires strong technical, problem solving skills to provide solutions to various problems relating to video players, SBS batteries, repairs, chargers, and other electrical issues. This person will be utilized to assist customers with technical questions and concerns about their implementation of our products. This person will be working with portable video devices used for on demand entertainment on airplanes as well as other new markets.

Essential Duties



:: Act as a technical resource for training repair technicians and diagnosing hard to resolve repair issues.
:: Training of repair technicians.
:: Design, develop, and build tools to support customers
:: Serves as a member of the product development group as a techincal resource.
:: Oversee and implement final assembl processes of products.
:: Document and develop standard test procedures.
:: Assist with customers' implementation of digEcor products.

Qualifications


The Linux Systems Programmers position is an exciting opportunity to be involved with systems used by passengers on aircraft around the world every day. This position will be involved with software development related to audio programming, audio visual programming, and client-server automation utilizing the latest technologies on cutting edge hardware.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



:: Program for stand-alone applications, network applications, security applications, and client-server communications for Linux based platforms.
:: Implement/maintain military-grade security compliance in hardware and software applications.
:: Develop and modify scripts and applications based on project requirements.
:: Maintain application and procedural documentation and software specifications.

Qualifications



:: Programming Languages: C/C++ on Linux, Perl, shell scripting.
:: Networking: ability to program for and utilize TCP/IP networking
:: Linux OS: Requires an in depth knowledge of the 2.4 and 2.6 based Linux systems, development/debugging tools, memory management, optimization techniques, system security.
:: Preferred experience with: databases, Linux graphical systems (X, sdl, directfb), Linux driver/kernel modules, microcontrollers, cross platform tools, HTML/Javascript. Audio/Video codecs and applications, and source control tools.

Manages all aspects of In-Flight Entertainment product sales for Wencor/digEcor and coordinates with outside sales personnel to make presentations, prepare proposals and negotiate unique contracts to aggressively gain market share for these innovative IFE products.

Essential Duties



:: Acts as primary proactive sales lead at Wencor/digEcor for all IFE products in the region.
:: Coordinates with the sales and marketing team.
:: Trains Wencor/digEcor outside sales team in Wencor/digEcor products.
:: Understands the market, customers, and competitors in assuring Wencor/APS products are competitive in all aspects including pricing.
:: Identifies unique revenue and profit opportunities.
:: Coordinates with sales and marketing team in developing and designing marketing plans including financial models, advertising, literature, press releases etc.
:: Contacts new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by specific Wencor Group products.
:: Identify prospective customers by using business directories or following leads from existing clients.
:: Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, etc.
:: Writes weekly activity reports.
:: Prepares proposals and bids.
:: Represents The Wencor Group in a positive, professional, and thorough manner.
:: Helps with collections as needed.
:: Maintains highest level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications



:: Bachelors Degree in Business Management or Engineering.
