SPRINGVILLE, Utah - October 5, 2005 - APS, a Wencor company, announced today that its name of APS will be changed to digEcor. "We felt it was time to utilize a name that fits the family of entertainment devices and solutions we are bringing to market," said Brent Wood, CEO of APS. "As we have almost completed the move of APS from Washington to Utah, it felt like a great time to also make the name change."
Wood also announced that Greg Beeston, Vice President, General Manager of WENCOR Europe, will also become President of digEcor.

digEcor will continue to sell the digEplayer, the worlds first portable In-flight Entertainment device (IFE). The firm has accelerated plans to move the digEsystem, their embedded system, to market. New models of the digEplayer are also in development.

"Our focus is rapid expansion in the IFE market," said Greg Beeston, President of digEcor. "As first to go to market with a portable IFE device, we believe we're in a unique position to not only continue our industry leadership, but take what we've learned from our customer base to push technologies forward and fill the need for a low cost reliable portable IFE solution."
