Amtrak® Chooses digEplayer® for Onboard Entertainment Solution

SPRINGVILLE, Utah - November 17, 2005 - Amtrak announced that it has chosen the digEplayer as the their system of entertainment for their passengers. The digEplayer is the world's first self-contained, portable video on demand (VOD) entertainment unit preprogrammed with movies, television shows, cartoons, videos, music, as well as destination information, promotions and advertising.

Amtrak has contracted with Railway Media® to handle the day-to-day operations of renting the digEplayer to passengers. The system will be available in stations and onboard Amtrak trains beginning on November 16, 2005.

Amtrak's Auto Train carries 200,000 passengers and their vehicles annually between the Washington D.C. suburb of Lorton, Va. and Sanford, Fla. on a 16 -hour, 855-mile overnight journey. The units will be available for rental at both stations for $19 for the one-way trip. Expansion of the service into other major Amtrak markets is being planned.

"On-demand entertainment is something our passengers have been asking for and we're pleased to offer the latest in the marketplace," said Barbara J. Richardson, vice president of marketing and sales for Amtrak. "Rather than carrying several DVDs or multiple entertainment systems, Amtrak passengers will have all that they need in one pre-programmed convenient system via the digEplayer."

"We are delighted that Amtrak has chosen the digEplayer," said Brent Wood, CEO of digEcor™. "The system has changed the face of the portable entertainment industry and enhanced passenger experience across the world."

Each digEplayer is about the same weight and size of a typical portable DVD player with the screen embedded into the face of the case. Units contain a 40 (or larger) gigabyte hard drive and utilize the latest digital technology.

"We're happy to bring the digEplayer to Amtrak," said Joshua Wallack, President and Chief Executive Officer of Railway Media. "It's a perfect solution to entertain passengers on their trips. The ridership is going to be thrilled."
